Mr. Holloway said there would be an 8-10 foot mound around the property. Ralph Crouch the neighbor owning property north of the plat told the commission the north wall that Shae Corporation built is retaining water under his property. He said Shae dug one ditch but more was needed. Mr. Holloway told Mr. Crouch that Shae should have cut into the mounds to make drainage and he would relay that to the Shae Corporation. A motion was made by Commissioner Crouch, second by Commissioner Ehrhart to approve final plat approval for Sections I and 2. Motion carried 7-0. Attorney Tim Currens told the commission that Bruce's CB Shop on Highway 144 was by Special Exception. Commissioner Williarnson told the commission that the business was also selling nitro scooters-new, and used cars. Mr. Beikman will check to see if the used cars parked in the yard on the comer of Orchard Road and Highway 144 is grandfathered. The commission questioned the non-conforming use at 137 West Washington Street. The house was a single family home for more than a year and now has gone back to being an apartment. A letter will be sent to the owner. Building Inspector Joe Beikman reported sixteen (16) permits, and fifty-seven (57) inspections. There being no further business to come before the commission at this time, a motion was made by Commissioner Bruner, second by Commissioner Crouch to adjourn the meeting.
