MOORESV1LLE BOARD of ZONING APPEALS <br /> May 21,1997 <br /> <br />The Town of Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met for their reqular scheduled meeting on <br />May 21,1997, at the Mooresville Town Hall. 26 South Indiana Street at 7:00 p.m. Board of <br />Zoning Appeals members present were Michael Young, Alan Kramer, Vern Kimmel, Brent <br />Plunkett and Don Barry. Board of Zoning Appeals attorney Tim Currem was present for the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Don Barry made thc motion to approve thc minutes as submitted of the April 16,1997 meeting <br />Brent Plunkett making the second. Motion passed 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />Bill Roberson came forward on behalf of thc Moomsvillc Cons. Schools, for a Special Exception <br />on thc Vic Yomag property on Hadley Road, for school purposes only. <br /> <br />Veto Kimmel made the motion to approve the Special Exceptio~n, with the second being made by <br />Man Kramer. Motion to approve the Special Exception was pa~l~led 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />H.D.Stacy 2 dwellings on one lot. Don Stacy 36 Lincoln Lane presented his request, to build a <br />dwelling for him and his family. Mr. Stacy pre~ented drawings of his proposed dwelling and all <br />information needed. <br /> <br />Don Barry made a motion to approve the H.D. Stacy request, with the second being made by <br />Vern Kimmel. The motion was passed 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />Holloway & Associates rep. r. esented Michelle Cravens in seeking a variance to build a hob)se, e, e, e,~ <br />that will be set behind an~existing dwelling. Also a variance to have a 20 ft. set back rathel~the <br />existing 60 ft. <br /> <br />Alan Kramer made a motion to approve the Michclle Cravens variances, with the second being <br />made by Don Bany. The motion passed 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />Holloway and Associates presented a variance request for Alan Deerwester for a Minor Plot with <br />40 to 20 foot set back. <br /> <br />A motion to approve the Alan Deerwer, ter variance was made by Donald Barry with the second <br />being made by Alan Kramer, the motion passed 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />A request was made by Mr. Mc Guire for a Special Exception for a car lot where the old car <br />wash existed{. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Donald Barry to approve the Special Exception for Mr. Mc Guire, with <br />Brent Plunkett making the second. The motion was passed 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br /> <br />
