platted, nothing could be done. We could check with the BMV and see how many cars
he has sold this year and if he has a dealer's license.

Commissioner McGuire said we should probably push the septic ordinance changes as
soon as possible. Attorney Currens said he would have a draft for the proposal at the next
meeting and then the public hearing at the meeting after that. Mr. Currens said if the
county passes the ordinance on the engineers that would be for the whole county. But, it
would be a good idea to include the showing of septic fields on the plat.

Commissioner Bryant said that on the comer of High Street and Clay Street the people
have tom down the house and it looks like they are replacing it with a pole structure. Mr.
Beikman said the house was eaten up with termites and the last thing in the world the
owners wanted to do was tear that building down. He told the commission it is a pole
structure with brick veneer.

Joe Beikman, Building Inspector, reported sixteen (16) permits and fifty-seven (57)
inspections.

There being no further business to come before the commission at this time, a motion was
made by Commissioner Bruner with a second by Commissioner Crouch. Motion carried
unanimously.

Th, o~' mootiog "h'" M~~ll, Plm Commi"ioo will b, b,'d 00 Th~
September 23,2004 at 7:00 P.
