<br />Mr. Ross Holloway, Engineer for Environmental Development <br /> <br /> <br />Corporation, explained to the Board that there would be three (3) <br /> <br /> <br />8-unit apartments built on this piece of property. <br /> <br /> <br />Motion was made by Steve Edwards to recommend the rezoning <br /> <br /> <br />of this piece of property from AG to R - 3 to the Town Council. <br />A second was made by Bill Abbott. Motion passed 5 for, 1 opposed <br />and 1 abstained. <br />Mr. Bryant Hopwood came before the Mooresville Planning Com- <br />mission representing Mr. Eugene Perry for a minor plat on Carter <br />Street. <br />Several residents voiced their concerns about the water and <br />drainage problems they would have from this property. <br />The Plan Commission members went over the minor plat check <br /> <br /> <br />list to see if the plat met specifications for approval. <br /> <br /> <br />The request for a minor plat on Carter Street was tabled <br /> <br /> <br />until the September meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Gary Canaday, Construction Manager for Lin-El, Inc., came <br /> <br /> <br />before the Mooresville Plan Commission with a preliminary plat at <br /> <br /> <br />751 Bethel Road for the Board members review. <br /> <br /> <br />The Board members reviewed and discussed Lin-El's preliminary <br /> <br />plat. <br /> <br />Mr. Roger Caperton of Caperton Development Group came before <br /> <br /> <br />the Moo,"esville Plan Commission to request two (2) phases for the <br /> <br /> <br />Knightsbridge Subdivision. <br /> <br /> <br />Motion was made by Bill Abbott to Escrow the money in two (2) <br /> <br /> <br />phases in the Knightsbridge Subdivision. A second was made by <br /> <br /> <br />Vern Kimmel. Motion passed 7 - O. <br /> <br />2 <br />
