<br />MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />THURSDAY, MAY 12, 2005 <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />The Mooresville Board of Zoning appeals met on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 6:00 P.M. <br />at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Members present were: Alan Kramer, Don Barry, Mike Young and Charles McGuire. <br />Jon Swisher was absent. Town Attorney, Tim Currens was absent. <br /> <br />Motion to approve the minutes for the April 14, 2005 meeting was made by Don Barry, <br />second by Charles McGuire. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />First on the agenda was Randy Haymaker, representing Hoosier Energy, at 497 E Bunker <br />Hill Rd, requesting a Special Exception for a substation. Mr. Kramer stated the Board <br />could not hear the petition, because there was not an up to date mailing list with the <br />petition. Mr. Haymaker asked for a continuance until the June 9, 2005 meeting. <br /> <br />Motion to approve the continuance ofthe petition for a substation until the June 9, 2005 <br />meeting, because the mailing list was missing from the petition for Hoosier Energy at 497 <br />E Bunker Hill Rd, was made by Charles McGuire, second by Don Barry. Motion <br />carried 4-0. Mr. Kramer stated they did not have to send out new notices. <br /> <br />Next was the Thompson Thrift Development on Fields St, requesting a variance for sign <br />on lot 1A and 1B in the Fields PUD. Mr. Kramer stated the Board could not hear the <br />petition, because the petition did not contain a notarized mailing list with it. Thompson <br />Thrift Development asked for a continuance until the June 9, 2005 meeting. <br /> <br />Motion to approve the continuance for the petition for a sign variance for Sherman <br />Williams Paint Store and Dairy Queen on Fields Street, because the notarized mailing list <br />was missing from the petition, was made by Don Barry, second by Charles McGuire. <br />Motion carried 4-0. Mr. Kramer stated they did not have to send out new notices. . <br /> <br />Mr. Kramer stated that Brenda Rose had with drawn her petition for a variance to operate <br />a Cakelflower Shop on E. Harrison Street. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Board a motion to adjourn was made <br />by Charles McGuire, second by Don Barry. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />The next meeting for the Board of Zoning Appeals will be June 9, <br />the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> <br />._------~-_._-~------~._~._-~_.._- <br />
