MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF METROPOLITAN POLICE COMMISSIONERS <br /> AUGUST 20, 1998 <br /> <br /> The Town of Mooresvdle Board of Metropolitan Police Commissioners met August 20, <br /> <br /> 1998 with Board members Dr. Dennis Knierim, Tom Warthen and legal council Timothy <br /> Currens being present. The meeting was preceded with the pledge of allegiance, then <br /> called to order by Dennis Knierim.. <br /> <br /> Yom Warthen made motion and was seconded by Dennis Knierim to approve the <br /> <br /> minutes of the last meeting with the following corrections: <br /> <br /> Company name change to deff Gilliam Construction, Inc. on the department's roof <br /> <br /> replacement. <br /> <br /> S.O.P. 30.8 to updated. <br /> Authorized <br /> Firearms <br /> be <br /> <br /> S.O.P. 8. 06 was approved as written. <br /> Under OM Bus'mess, Tim Viles stated that the roof is 95% completed. <br /> · Tom Warthen advised he was not ready to further discuss the S.O.P. ~. <br /> Under New Business, Dennis Knierim advised that Kevin dulian has completed his pro- <br /> bation period. <br />t. From the floor, a female voiced her opinion m what she called inappropriate actions <br /> by the Chief Of Police alleging he had made statements about her to her minister's wife. <br /> Dennis Knierim requested her complaint in writing. <br /> Also a question from the floor regarding if the law had been researched on officer's <br /> driving out of town. Tim Currens advised that they may drive out of the county on <br /> <br /> <br />
