MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF METROPOLITAN POLICE COMMISSIONERS <br />C DECEMBER 16, 1999 <br /> The Town of Mooresvdle Board of Metropolitan Police Commissioners met December 16, 1999 <br /> <br /> with Board Members Dr. Dennis Knierim, Dean Kays, Charles Berwick and Timothy C Currens <br /> being pres~nt. The meeting was called to order by Dr. Dennis Knienm. <br /> <br /> The m~nutes were approved for the November 18th and December 9th meetings. <br /> <br /> Under Old Business: <br /> <br /> * The Five Year Plan for the Police Department: <br /> <br /> Harold Gut,,*wdler from Mooresvdle Econmic Deveiopement will give a presentation at the <br /> January meeting on the expected town growth. <br /> Long term plans include input form Police Officers and the public. <br /> Cell phones m ali the Police Commissions were discussed <br /> <br /> * New Hire: <br /> <br /> Sgt. Alien advised the Bryan McGauhey is obtaining uniforms, equipment and doing <br /> papemvork. He wdl be sworn in December 31, 1999 at Town Hall, first day of employment <br /> will Be January 1, 2000, and he wdl enter the Academy on January 3, 2000. <br /> <br /> *Reserve Program: <br /> <br /> A meeting was set for nme o'clock, December 21, 1999 at Tim Currens office to discuss the <br /> Reserve Program. <br /> <br /> The next meeting will be .January 20. 2000. <br /> <br /> There being no other business to come before the Board, the meeting ,vas adjourned. <br /> <br /> Dennis ~ Knienm ~ <br /> Dean Kays <br /> ~har~e~B~rwick <br /> <br /> <br />
