<br />motioned to approve the plat and the Condominium layouts as presented, a second came <br />from Commissioner Ehrhart, the motion carried 6-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />Mr Beikman's report of20 permits and 68 inspections was given by Erma Holmes. <br /> <br />Chairman Young asked for any other questions, at this time Commissioner Ehrhart said <br />to Mr. Currens that some of us (meaning the Commissioners) have concerns about the <br />Landers Subdivision. He asked ifhe (Mr. Currens) saw it changing much. Mr. Currens <br />said that he would be happy to talk to anyone off of the Towns clock, he said that he <br />would stay as long as wanted afterwards. Mr. Currens said that he represents this Plan <br />Commission to give legal advise pertaining to the Plan Commission. He said that his job <br />is to keep the Commission out oflegal problems. He said that the county has a separate <br />Plan Commission, separate Zoning Ordinance, and a separate Master Land use plan, he is <br />representing the client that is in front of them (The County) which is a totally separate <br />issue from our Plan Commission. Mr. Currens said that he doesn't think it would be <br />appropriate, because it is a separate issue from our Plan Commission, to discuss on the <br />Town's time. He said that he would give them all the time they want after the <br />meeting. Chairman Young asked if there was any more business. At this time someone <br />asked if it would behoove us to make a recommendation to the County Plan Commission. <br />Mr. Currens answer was that he thinks that individually you have a right to give your <br />opinion. Commissioner Ehrhart moved to send a letter to the County Plan Commission, <br />stating that we are not in favor of this project as presented. Commissioner Berwick <br />seconded the motion.
