<br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, MARCH 23, 2006 <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met on Thursday March 23,2006 at the Mooresville <br />Town Hall. <br /> <br />Commissioners present were; Chairman Mike Young, Commissioners James Logan, <br />Charles McGuire, Charles Berwick, Darrell Brown and Robert Corbin. Those absent <br />Were; Commissioners, John Ehrhart, Robert Williamson and Troy Bryant. Town <br />Attorney, Tim Currens was also present. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Young at 6:00 p.m., at this time Chairman <br />Young ask for a motion on the February 23,2006 meeting minutes. A motion was made <br />by Commissioner Corbin to approve the minutes as written, motion seconded by <br />Commissioner Berwick. The motion carried 6-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />At this time Chairman Young asked for a motion on the Martin James property. <br />Mr James has requested for his petition to rezone White Lick Business Suites and <br />Pebble Plaza PUD. The James have asked to come back for the May meeting. A motion <br />was made by Commissioner Mc Guire to allow Mr James to ruturn for the May meeting <br />and seconded by Commissioner Logan. The motion carried 6-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />Commissioner Berwick had concerns about the Town Departments being charged for <br />building permits, after some discussion, Town attorney Tim Currens said that a <br />recommendation could be sent to the Town Council regarding this matter. A motion to <br />have to have Attorney Currens prepare therecommendation, to the Town Council <br />concerning not chargeing Town Departments for building permits, by Commissioner <br />Berwick, seconded by Commissioner McGuire, motion carried 6-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />Joe Beikmans report of 25 Permits and 46 Insprctions was given by Erma Holmes. <br /> <br />With no further business before the Commission at this time Commissioner Brown <br />motioned to adjourn, with a second from Commissioner Berwick.
