Holloway said he thought with the change they would bring the line for the hydrant
under the road and down the south side of the building. He said he knew why they
did it that way, because they were looking at another expansion. Commissioner
Bryant said on the original plan the gravel road to the south was for future parking
and the parking spaces will have to increase when the square footage increases.
Mr. Holloway said he would talk to them about that and make sure that the grades
to the access road are such that they could expand the parking up towards the
building.

Motion was made by Commissioner Williamson, seconded by Commissioner
Brown; to accept the expansion with the condition they inspect the fire access road
and fire hydrant. Motion carried 9-0,

Next was Ross Holloway, to discuss the main plat for Lot #3 Hopkins Minor Plat
located on Bridge Street. He said they were before the BZA to get a Special
Exception for a car wash on Lot #3. They had proposed for the Special Exception
one large entrance and exit to the east and they found that they would have a
conflict with people coming out and the people trying to enter. They are now
proposing having a one way entrance on the west side of the parcel and a one way
exit on the west side. The cars would have adequate stacking to the west and
behind the car wash, with exiting from the front on east. Chairman Young said the
BZA had approved having one way in and one way out only and he felt that was a
better plan. Commissioner Ehrhart asked ifthere was enough room to get around
the cars waiting to get into the automatic bays to be able to enter the self-service
bays. Mr. Holloway said to enter the last bay it would be difficult. He said he
would encourage them to have lines or curbs so the cars would be forced to stay to
the outside and allow enough room for cars to turn. Mr. Holloway said there was
an emergency exit to the right of the building and that space would be paved so in
an emergency there would be a way for cars to exit. Commissioner Brown stated
this was directly behind Casey's and was there any open ground to the east and the
next business. Mr. Holloway said there would be about three hundred feet and that
Mplirttedras mmllDby Commissioner Ehrhart, second by Commissioner Logan, to
accept the new ingress and egress changes for Lot #3, Hopkins Minor Plat, on
modglln~ed 9-0.

A representative from Mohney Homes presented the plans for a subdivision on the
Jessup property that is adjacent to Grandview. The largest part of the project
would be condominium style homes and there are 140 homes, They would be from
$180,000 with stone fronts and with hardywood planks on the side. They feel there
is a market here of this type of community. Commissioner Williamson said he
knew there was a market, but this would be more expenses for the community. He
asked if they would expect the town to take over the maintenance of the street and
they said they were open on suggestions of the street. Mr. Williamson asked what
the cost for the homes in the different sections was. They said the Purple Section
would be ranch and two story all brick fronted with the options of rapping the brick
and priced from the $200,000's. The Green Section would be single and two story
