I attended those meetings. Of particular interest to me was the <br />SR67 south corridor. Following are my notes from the public hearings that are probably <br />of interest to concerned neighbors: <br /> 1. "Property values will increase in the presence of lakes'--testimony of <br /> President Indianapolis Board of Realtors <br /> 2. Appearance, noise and particulate airborne material are controlled by Indiana <br /> Department of Environmental Management. <br /> 3. Surface water control and environmental factors are regulated by Indiana <br /> Department of Natural Resources. <br /> 4. "Formation of a lake in the White Lick floodplain will not affect well water <br /> volume or quality" --testimony by Dr. Richard Powell, a registered <br /> hydrologist. <br /> <br />The master plan adopted ten years ago recommends this land be zoned industrial. The <br />map I have indicates that I am the most significant adjacent landowner to the property in <br />question. This is to advise the plan commission that I am in agreement with the master <br />plan for the land use of Bodell property. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br /> <br />
