Indianapolis Road <br />Mooresville, IN 46158 <br /> <br />Re: Advertising Structure - Jim Remester & Ed Bartley <br /> <br /> Dear Board: <br /> Misters Remester and Bartley have a request before the Town of Mooresville Board of <br /> Zoning Appeals for a vadance to install an advertising structure in the northwest comer <br /> of the intersection of State Highways 67 and 144. Land owned by the Parks Board <br /> joins the Remester property on the south. Per the Town of Mooresville Zoning <br /> Ordinance Section 3.6-111-C..3 (Page 55)"No advertising structure shall be placed <br /> within 500 feet of any dwelling or land platted and recorded for residential use, or any <br /> school, church, place of public assembly or park. unless the property, owner waives this <br /> requirements as it applies to his or her property. <br /> As the land on which this sign is to be located is unsuitable for any productive use and <br /> as the sign will be approximately 600 feet, through the wooded area, from the Old Park <br /> Shelter House (See attached aerial photo) we would request that the Park Board waive <br /> the 500 foot requirement given in the above cited section of the Mooresville Zoning <br /> Ordinance for this location.
