No members were absent. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Pygman to approve tim minute:.. <br /> of the January 4, 1999 meeting. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> Jim Thorpe and Brent Callahan of the Mooresville Park District requested approval of <br /> appropriation of $229,449.98 in the Non Reverting Capital for completion of~e Pool Project. <br /> They reminded the Council this appropriation does not necessarily mean the entire amount will <br /> be spent. Motion was made by Councilman Pygman, second by Councihnan Clark to approve <br /> the appropriation. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br /> Ross Holloway of Holloway & Assoc. presented the Fields property on Highway 67 next lo <br /> Momingside Addition for a rezone from B-3 to PUD-I. The buffering had been chas~ged to a 10 <br /> foot high mound with 200 pine trees but still 100 feet in width. Restrictions for certain <br /> industries not acceptable to build, such as, Fertilizer plant, junk yard, petroleum, mineral <br /> extraction, landfills, penal institutions, or slaughter houses were still on the pl~ and the <br /> Homeowners are to be notified for every new addition to come into the indm.'.'~al park. The plat <br /> will be policed by the Plan Commission. Jane Moore read a statement from'~ homeowners <br /> that this plat was acceptable. Motion was made by Councilman Warthen, second by Councihnan <br /> Dolen to approve the plat as written. Motion carded 5-0. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by C. ouncilman Clark to approve Ordinance 6~ 1, <br /> 1999 to rezone the Fields property from B-3 to PUD-I. Motion carded 5-0. <br /> <br /> Brown Township Trustee, Al Homaday, addressed the Council requesting a merger of the two "~ <br /> fire departments. He stated he would like to have a forum for discussion. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to approve Availability <br /> Fees for Lot 4B in Towne Center to hook on to Waster Water Treatment. The hook-on fee is <br /> $1,320.00 and availability fees $1,080.00. Motion carded 5-0. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Clark to move the Council <br /> meetings to Tuesdays, first and third of the month, and begin the meetings at 6:30 P. M. Motion <br /> carried 3-2. Councilmen Warthen and Pygman opposed. <br /> <br /> Town attorney Tim Currens informed the Council they needed to establish a Snow <br /> policy to be passed by a resolution and filed with the Clerk's office.
