147 <br /> <br /> Development to be on file at the Mooresville Town Hall <br /> Motion carried unanimously. · <br /> <br /> Doug Opel of Heritage Remediation appeared before the Council <br /> to request the approval of the Council to install a monitoring well <br /> on town right of way at Crystal Flash on Main Street. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilman <br /> Viles to approve the installation of a monitoring well on Town right <br /> of way on Main Street pending a signed contract which will have the <br /> same terms as the previous contract held between the Town of Mooresville <br /> and Heritage Remediation. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Council- <br /> man Viles to approve Ordinance #2-1992 An Ordinance to Rezone the <br /> Warner property south of Mooresville on State Road 67 from B1-B2. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Viles and second by Councilman <br /> Heald to approve the first reading of Ordinance #3-1992 An Ordinance <br /> to change the maps and text of the Comprehensive Plan to be consistent <br /> with the zoning ordinance. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilwoman Overholser and second by Council- <br /> man Edwards that the Town of Mooresville finds no fault with the <br /> property located at 122 W. Washington Street encroaching on Carter <br /> Street. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilwoman <br /> Overholser to approve Ordinance #4-1992 An Ordinance Amending <br /> Ordinance #24-1991, The Ordinance Concerning the Annual Compensation <br /> of the Officials and Employees of the Civil Town of Mooresville. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilwoman <br /> Overholser to approve Ordinance #5-1992 An Ordinance to Rezone property <br /> of Caperton Development from A to RID. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported he had fourteen (14) <br /> calls, picked up nine (9) animals, returned four (4) to their owners. <br /> <br /> Councilman Tim Viles advised the Council that we will be ad- <br /> vertising for bids to mow the cemetery, bids could possibly be <br /> accepted at the first meeting in April. <br /> <br /> Mr. Dave White of the VFW appeared before the Council to request <br /> a roadblock for Poppy Sales on Saturday, May 9 1992 Proof of <br /> insurance was submitted. ' ' <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Heald and second by Councilman <br /> Edwards to approve the roadblock for the VFW Poppy Sales for Saturday, <br /> May 9, 1992. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion to pay the bills and claims was made by Councilman Heald <br /> and second was made by Councilman Viles. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Mooresville <br />Town Council at this time Councilman Edwards made a motion to adjourn, <br />second by Councilwoman Overholser.
