Joe Beikman had quotes on the Carlisle Street sidewalk project. <br />The Town of Mooresville would need an easement on the property <br />before work could begin. Town Council President Mark Mathis will <br />show quote to the Mooresville Consolidated School Corp.and ask for <br />an easement. Sidewalk Quote: <br /> <br /> Materials: $ 6,580.00 <br /> Forming & Finishing (Hired) 6,325.00 <br /> Forming & Finishing (Town) 5,800.00 <br /> Tearing out asphalt 1,680.00 <br /> If hiring walk poured 14,585.00 <br /> If Town pours walk 14,060.00 <br /> Equipment costs Add 400.00 <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman Wright, second by Councilman Dolen <br />to approve an escrow agreement with Chris Crouch of Countryview <br />Estates for $25,275.00 for sidewalks and construction and the balance <br />of Sanitary Plant. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman Hensley, second by Councilman Wright <br />to approve an easement for Hoosier Energy for $200.00 payment tofthe <br />Town of Mooresville. The easement is on the land between Carpenter <br />Real Estate and Haltom Tractors on St. Rd. 67. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />The Town Council signed a bill for cutting weeds on the Turner <br />property on West Main Street to be certified. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman Hensley, second by Councilman Dolen <br />to approve the sale of .27 of an acre on St. Rd. 144 and St. Rd. 42 <br />at Highway 67 south side of High Street for $4,515.00 (four-thousand <br />five hundred fifteen dollars) to the State of Indiana and Department <br />of Transportation to widen the Bridge for four (4) lane traffic. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Wright <br /> to approve as read the Deed of Dedication for public use Rooker <br /> Run and Associates, this is on the infrastructure. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br /> A request from Environmental Development for release of certain <br /> monies from Escrow accounts will have to be tabled to the next <br /> meeting. Joe Beikman will check on Escrow balances. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Hensley, second by Councilman Dolen <br /> to approve all the Department Budgets plus the Park Bond Budget and <br /> the CCD budget for 1997. Departments: Police, Fire, EDC, Town <br /> Hall, Town Court,MVH, Utility, and Park & Recreation. Motion <br /> carried unanimously and Budgets for 1997 were signed. <br /> <br /> President Mark Mathis stated he had a conversation with Steve Overton <br /> about County Economic Development. Mr. Overton would like to <br /> explain the county concept to the Town Council at the next regular <br /> Town Council meeting. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman Wright to <br /> approve the payment of the bills. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Town Council at <br /> this time motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman <br /> Hensley to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> The next meeting will be held on Thursday, September 5, 1996 at <br /> 7:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall.
