A discussion was then held concerning the two cleaning bids. This discussion was tabled at the Dec. 16 meeting. Motion was made by Councilman Wright, second by Councilman Pygman to accept the cleaning bid made by DEKAB mtce. for both the Town HALL AND THE Police Station. in compliance with the Cleaning specs at ~1.056.00 per month. The Clerk-Treasurer will moniter. Motion carried unanimously. Councilman ~ens~eymade a motion, second by Councilman Dol~n. to approve the Amendment to Salary Ordinance ~17, 19~5 for Overtime in the Clerk's Office. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Councilman Wright, second by Councilman Dolen t¢, approve the amendment to the Salary OrdinaDce ~10, 1996 which had been left out of Section One stating $35G.00 per year uniform allowance for firefi~'hters. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Councilmar~ Hensley, second by Councilman Dolen to approve tt, e Resolution for the Transfer of Funds. Motion carried ur~animously. ~ouncilman Pygmsn led a discussion concernin~ res~deDts ¢:f Honey- suckle Drive. The Town Council cannot do anything to help with their water problem. ATTE~iT: " January 7, 1997 The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, January 7, 1997 at 7:30 P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. Members present were: Mark Mathis, Andy Pygman, Jim Hensley, Bill Wright. Toby Dolen was absent. Reorganization: Motion was made by Councilman Hensley, second by Councilman Wright nominate Mark Mathis for a second year as President and Andy Pygman for a second year as Vice-President. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Councilman Wright, second by Councilman Pygman to approve the minutes of the December 30, 1996 meeting. Motion carried unanimously. Bob Summers of the Mooresville Girl's Softball League appeared before the Town Council to request permission to have an opening day par~ on April 26, 1997 at 9:00 A.M. Motion was made by Councilman Hensley, second by Councilman Wright to approve the request and for Mr. Summers to work with Chief Viles on the parade route.
