The Mooresville Town Council met in regular session on Tuesday, April 7, 1998, at 7:30 P. M. at the Moorcsville Town Hall. Council members present were: President Mark Mathis, Toby Dolcn, Bill Wfighl, Jhn ltcnsley, and Andy Pygman. No members were absent. Motion was made by Councilman Hensley, second by Councihnan Dolen to approve tile nfinutes . of the previous meeting. Motion carded 5-0. Motion was made by Councilman Hensley, second by Councihnan Wright to approve the Resolution for an additional appropriation of $2,621.75 fi'mn file General Fund for the Senior Citizens Center. Motion carded 5-0. Motion was made by Councihnan Hensley, second by Councihnan Dolen to approve installation o[ · new posts in appropriate locations for Optimist Club signs, these appropriate locations are subject · to the approval of the Street Commissioner. Motion carried 5-0. The Remster re-zone of property on Indianapolis Road will be on thc agenda for file April 21, 1998 meeting. Motion was made by Councilman Pyg~nan, second by Councilman Hensley to apl)rove file sewer connection fees for the Eagles Lodge on Old State Road 67 of $2250.00. Motion carded 5-0. Motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councihnan Wright to offer Raudall Wiser the position of Utility Supervisor. Motion carded 5-0. The Council discussed paving bids and asked that Cemetct3, driveways be included hi the bids. Councilman Wright and Councihnan Itensley volunteered to be on tile Health Insurance committee for this year. Motion was made by Councilman Wfiglit, second by Councilman Dolcn to approw: release of escrow for Environmental D~welopment Section One Rocker Run. A balance of $3,790 to bo kept in escrow. Motion can'ied 5-0. Motion was made by Councihnan Dolen, second by Councihnan Wfigl~t to approve the l'orm of the legal documents for the Easements with United Water at Bridge Street and at the fenner Testerman property now owned by Town of IVloorcs~,ille on West Itarrison SLreet.
