Robert Bingham appeared before the Mooresville Board <br />of Zoning Appeals requesting a yaP[ante to reduce side set <br />hacks For a sign from 50' to 3' from the property line at <br />124 E. High Street, (Speedway Auto Parts). <br /> <br /> Ms. Ber'nadine Gibbs 333 S. Clay Street appeared befor'<, <br />the Board wanting to know if Mr. Bingham ~as planning on <br />placing the sign on the existing sign pole. <br /> <br /> Mr, Bingham explained that the existing pole would b~ <br />removed and the new sign woald be 20' from th,~ right-of-way, <br />closer to the parts building. <br /> <br /> Boar~l P~esldent Bart? went over the specifications <br />r~>quir'ed for this type of variance to see that the request <br />inet appro~,a] . <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Charles McGuire to grant the request <br />for the variance for' a side set backs for' a sign to be <br />Peduced from 50' to 3' at 124 E. High Street, (Speedway Auto <br />Parts), with the sign only being lit from 7 am to 6 pm, the <br />ex[sLing sign pole being removed and the new sign being the <br />same height as the car wash sign, 12' A second was made b3 <br />Vern Ki.mlet. Motion carried 4 0. <br /> <br /> Mr. Earl Wehmeler appeared before the Mooresvil]e Board <br />of Zehing Appeals seeking advice as to whether or not a flea <br />market, cc~u]d be operated on property he owns at 370 E. High <br />Si ree~ . <br /> <br /> After much discussion among the Board, it was determined <br />that a flea market, could be allowable ia a B-3 zoning <br />~'lassi['ic'ation or a B-2 zoning classification by special <br />~,~eption only. Mr. Wehmeier would need to appear before <br />~.he Mooresvi] ]e Planning Commission. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the <br />Mooresx ille Board of Zoning Appeals at this time, motion to <br />adjourn was made hy Charles McGuire.
