MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS MINUTES <br /> WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 1994 7:00 P.M. <br /> MOORESVILLE TOWN HALL <br /> <br /> The Mooresvi]le Board of Zoning <br />regular scheduled meeting Wednesday, November <br />7:00 p.m. at, the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Appeals met for their <br /> 16, 1994 at <br /> <br />Charles McOuire, Alan Kramer and Don Barry <br /> <br />Vern Kimmel, <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Charles McGuire to approve the <br />minutes of the October Board of Zoning Appeals meeting. <br />second was made by Steve Oschman. Motion passed 5 9. <br /> <br /> Mr. Chris White with Davis Development appeared before <br />the Mooresvilie Board of Zoning Appeals to request a variance <br />for a temporary directional marketing sign to be placed on <br />the property of Steve Yoke', at, the corner of State Road 144 <br />and Johnson Road. Mr. White explained that the sign would be <br />~tn 8' x 12' directional sign to the Davis Development that <br />would be up for three (3) to four (4) years. <br /> <br />Mrs. Chambers, 812 Johnson Road, appeared before the <br />Moor'esvil]e Board of Zoning Appeals, informing the Board that <br />she did nol object to the sign, but ~he ob.jetted ~o where the <br />sign was going to be located. Mrs. Chambers e-~plained to the <br />Board that her home had been struck by automobiles twice and <br />that the hnpact of having the sign located at this corner <br />would onl~ cause more tcaffic problems. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ken Dudney, 807 Johnson Road, appeared before the <br />Moo~'esvi [le Board of Zoning Appeals explained that he felt <br />the sign was too large, not: very temporary and that he wa~ <br />~ust not in favor of the sign. <br /> <br /> Mr. Vern Murphey, Johnson and Sta~oad ]44, informed <br />the Board that has had people actta[ly~ive up in his yard <br />a~a~ a~mo~t hit him with their car whi~e he <br /> <br /> The Board wen'~over the Findings of' Fact: to see if the <br /> request for the temporary sign variance met specifications <br /> For approval. Board p[.esident Don Barry poised the Board to <br /> see if they felt that the r. eqnest met the Findings of Fact <br /> speci Fical,[ort~. <br /> <br /> <br />
