MOORESVILLE TOWN COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 16-2022 A RESOLUTION AMENDING TOWN RESOLUTION NO. 13-2022 IN ORDER TO CORRECT A SCRIVENOR'S ERROR AND DECLARING CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS WHEREAS, Ind. Code § 5-22-22 et seq. authorizes the Town to follow certain procedures to dispose of surplus property; and WHEREAS, on or about June 7, 2022, the Town Council of the Town of Mooresville, Indiana ("Town') passed Resolution No. 13-2022; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 13-2022 set forth certain personal property to be declared a surplus by the Town in order to be properly disposed of; and WHEREAS, subsequent to the passage of Resolution No. 13-2022, it has come to the attention of the Town Council of the Town that a serial number corresponding to one of the firearms listed therein was inadvertently transposed and was listed incorrectly; and WHEREAS, it is now in the best interest of the Town for the Town Council to correct the scriveners error contained within Resolution No. 13-2022 in order to reflect the correct serial number for the firearm so it may be properly disposed of pursuant to Ind. Code § 5-22-22 et seq. and Resolution No. 13-2022. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The above recitals are incorporated by reference. Section 2. The following property was declared surplus property under Town Resolution No. 13-2022 as follows: "Model Serial number 6. Glock 21 XNS500"
