323 <br /> <br />Animal Control Officer Mark Taylor reported thirty five (35) calls, <br />nineteen (19) impounded, and five (5) returned. <br /> <br />Town Judge PAul Sterrett reported June's Check Defferral fees <br />amounted toFive thousand nine hundred forty dollars($5,940.O0). <br />The Town of Mooresville portion is Two thousand nine hundred <br />seventy dollars ($2,970.00). <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman Wright, second by Councilman Hensley <br />to approve three (3) swimming pool fill sewer exempts located at <br />the following addresses: 220 Wheeler Street, 990 Edgewood Drive, <br />and 1033 Killian Drive. Motion carried 4-1. Councilman Dolen <br />opposed. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman Hensley, second by Councilman Wright <br />to approve the payment of the bills. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the Council at this <br />time, motion was made by Councilman Dolen, second by Councilman <br />Wright to adjourn the meeting. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Council members present were President Mark Mathis, Vice President <br />Andy Pygman, Toby Dolen, Jim Hensley, and Bill Wright. No members <br />were absent. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilman Hensley, second by Councilman Dolen <br />to approve the minutes of July 1, 1996 meeting. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Arthur Meyers appeared before the Council requesting a right of <br />way for a sewer line across the property belonging to Charles Amy. <br />Mr. Amy will not grant Mr. Meyers a right of way so Mr. Meyers is <br />asking to run a sewer line down the alley. The Town will have to <br />look into the cost of surveying costs and easement possibilities. <br /> <br />Mr. Miller from Brownsburg addressed the council concerning his <br />three (3) doubles in Brookmore Addition. He was requesting that <br />the Town of Mooresville take the Addition into the city limits and <br />install sanitary lines. The County can use the Barrett Law for <br />help in financing, the Town cannot. Town attorney Tim Currens <br />referred Mr. Miller to the County. <br /> <br />Paul Mason requested blocking off an alley behind the Spoon residence <br />on Saturday, August 3, 1996 from approximately 7:00 a. m. to 3:00 <br />p. m. for the purpose of an auction. Mr. Mason will pick up the <br />barricades from Joe Beikman, Street Superintendent, and return them. <br />The Town Council approved. <br /> <br />Councilman Dolen made a motion, second by Councilman Pygman to approve <br />the final reading of Ordinance #6, 1996, Burglar Alarm Ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />
