MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE BOARD OF %ON!NG APPEALS <br /> <br /> The Moores~il!e Board of Zoning Appeals met at ~ts regularly ~chedu!ed <br />meeting on Wednesday, the 15th dsy of October, ]986, at the Meoresv~lle Town <br />Hall. Present were Board Members Steve Oschman, Tilford Bailey, Warren Franklin, <br />and Wendell Tha]er. The Board's Attorney, Timothy C. Currens, was also present° <br />Th~ meeting was called to order by Chairman Steve Oschman who determined there <br />was a q~orum present. The ~egrd then proceeded to approve the minutes of the <br />prior meeting and the findings of fact. <br /> <br /> The Board then proceeded to the first item on the agenda, a petition <br />f~led by Raymond Reed requesting the placement of a 12 X 65 foot trailer on <br />the rear of his yard. The Board's Attorney reviewed the petition and advised <br />notices to be in order, but the matter should be considered a special exception <br />and referred to the Plan Commission. AIl parties present were given notice of <br />the next Plan Commission meeting and that new notices would be required before <br />any p~blic meeting before the Plan;Commission. Mr. Reed was advised that he <br />should be present at the Plan Commission meeting set for October 23rd at 7:30 p.m. <br />at the Town Hail. The remonstrators present were ~ay Mills of 440 Ferguson Road, <br />Bob Hobbard, representing the estate of Doris Brown, Bob H~gemeyer of 441Ferguson <br />~oad. <br /> <br /> The Board then proceeded to the next item on the agenda, that being the <br /> petition of Robert E. Armstrong and Shirley Armstrong who are requesting variance <br /> at the property located at 16 E. Washington Street~ Mooresville~ Indiana to open <br /> a used furniture and antiqne business in their basement for 2 days a week and <br /> also requested a small~ temporary sign to be used on yard sale days only. The <br /> Armstrongs were present and stated their request. They advised that they were <br /> right across from Citizens Bank property and their property set on a hill with <br /> the garage and basement area opening behind the house and somewhat beneath the <br /> <br /> <br />
