MINUTES OF MOOR~SVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met at its regularly called <br /> <br />session on Wednesday, the 15th day of February, 1984 at 7:00 o'clock P.M. at <br />the Mooresville Fire Department. Present were Board Members Steve Oschman, <br />Warren Franklin, and Wendell Thaler. Also present was the Board's Attorney, <br />Timothy C. Currens. It was determined that there was a quorum present and the <br />meeting was called to order by Chairman Steve Oschman. Minutes of the last meeting <br />were approved as read by all members. Chairman Oschman then proceeded to the first <br />item on the agenda, reorganization. Nominations for Chairman were opened from the <br />floor and Wendell Thaler nominated Steve Oschman, this was seconded by Warren <br />Franklin and unanimously approved. Nominations for Vice-Chairman were then opened <br />with Warren Franklin nominating Wendell Thaler and Steve Oschman seconding the same <br />with Wendell Thaler unanimously being elected Vice-Chairman. Nominations for <br />Secretary were then opened with Wendell Thaler nominating Warren Franklin and Steve <br />Oschman seconding the same and Warren Franklin was unanimously elected Secretary. <br />The Board then proceeded to the first item on the agenda, petition 2-1984 filed <br />by Mary and Delmos Bishop requesting a zoning variance for a part-time beauty salon <br />in their residence located at 1068 Delwood Drive, Mooresville, Indiana. Tom Kough, <br />their attorney, proceeded to explain the variance request. Mr. Kough advised that the <br />variance was only requested for one-half of the day on Wednesday, and all day on <br />Thursday and Friday from 9:00 to 6:00 P.M. He advised that parking would be in tile <br />front drive where there was room for 2 cars which should be sufficient parking. In <br />addition they were requesting a sign. They likewise advised that entrance to the <br />shop would be on the side. The Board opened up the questions to the floor and Jack <br />Guyder of 1060 Delwood Drive said his only question was in regards to the amount <br />of traffic since it was a heavily populated street with several children.
