MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS MINUTES <br />WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19, 1992 - 7:00 p.m. <br />MOORESVILLE TOWN HALL <br /> <br /> The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met for their regular <br />scheduled meeting on Wednesday, August 19, 1992 at 7:00 p.m. at the <br />Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br /> Board members present were Charles McGuire, Vern Kimmel, Alan <br />Kramer and Don Barry. Also present was the Board's attorney, <br />Timothy C. Currens. Board member Steve Oschman was absent. <br /> <br /> Motion was made to approve the July minutes by Don Barry. <br /> <br />A second was made by Alan Kramer. Motion passed 4 - O. <br /> <br /> Mr. George R. Smith came before the Mooresville Board of Zoning <br />Appeals to request a variance at 527 E. County Line Road. Mr. Smith <br />explained that he owned Benefit Resources which is currently located <br />at 470 E. St. Clair Street and wanted to move his business to <br />527 E. County Line Road which is a residential area. <br /> <br /> Board member Vern Kimmel asked Mr. Smith why he wanted to move <br />from his current location. <br /> <br /> Mr. Smith explained that his business was growing and he <br />needed more space. Mr. Smith also, explained that under the new <br />laws of ADA he is required co make his business handicap accessible. <br /> <br /> Numerous ~esidents living on East County Line Road expressed <br />their concerns about the fact that there would be limited.parking <br />at this location and more traffic on County Line Road. <br /> <br /> The Board of Zoning Appeals went over the Findings of Fact <br /> <br />to see if the petition met specifications for approval. <br /> <br /> <br />
