ORDINANCE NO. J..t..- AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A UNIFORM FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE DRAINAGE AND EROSION CONTROL WHEREAS, The Town of Mooresville has the authority to approve plans and specifications for the drainage of a subdivision of lots or lands located within the corporate boundaries of the municipality, pursuant to I.C. 36-9-27-69.5; WHEREAS, in order to review the plans and specifications of applicants, The Town of Mooresville must employ engineers and other experts and specialists specifically trained in the field of hydrology water drainage and erosion; WHEREAS, The Town Council has proposed a uniform fee schedule; WHEREAS, the fees to be imposed by this ordinance are reasonably related to the reasonable and just rates and charges for the services provided by The Town of Mooresville and the review and investigation of the drainage plans and specifications for subdivisions; NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by The Town of Mooresville, Indiana, as follows: 1. The Town of Mooresville Uniform Fee Schedule, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A" and "8", is established and imposed by the Town of Mooresville. The fee shall be paid by each applicant or petitioner upon submission of the drainage plans and sub- specifications. 2. The fee imposed by this ordinance shall be collected by the Town of Mooresville. The fees collected under this ordinance shall be deposited into the Drainage & Erosion Control Plat Review Fund and to be administered by the Town of Mooresville. The Fund shall be a non-reverting fund and shall be used to pay expenses incurred by the Town of Mooresville for the review and investigation of drainage plans and specifications for subdivisions. 3.
