Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals <br />December 131h, 2018 Minutes <br />Members present: Mike Young, Perry King, Charles McGuire, Danny <br />Lundy and attorney Mel Daniel. Neal Allman was absent. <br />Mike Young called the meeting to order, welcomed new member Danny <br />Lundy then called for a motion on the previous minutes. Perry Ding <br />motioned to accept the minutes as presented, Charles McGuire seconded <br />the motion and the motion passed, Danny Lundy abstained. <br />The first item on the agenda is a continued variance request by <br />Holloway Engineering on behalf of Robert Stewart, Stewart & Stewart <br />LLC. The request, made by John Larrison of Holloway Engineering, is <br />for the allowance of three proposed parcels at 10021 N Old St Rd 67, the <br />variances include: (3) two acre minimum requirement for on-site septic <br />and (2) length to width ratio requirement. The property currently houses <br />three rental buildings: two residential homes and one commercial <br />business. Mr. Stewart has recently acquired the property and would like <br />to divide it into three parcels so that each tenant may purchase their <br />piece of property. The septic systems are existing, each has individual <br />utilities, the request is to allow separation of what is already in place. <br />John Larrison then addressed previous concerns for the existing septic <br />systems, they have been inspected and plans are in place, easements <br />have been granted, if a system should fail and needs replaced. Mike <br />Young then called for questions; Charles McGuire asked how many <br />employees the business had, Mr. Larrison believed it to only be three. <br />Mike Young discussed the two acre lot size requirements. Wheri no <br />further questions were asked Mike Young called for a motion; Charles <br />McGuire confirmed with Mel Daniel that an approval with a stipulation <br />was allowable, then motioned to approve with the stipulation that if <br />
