TOWN OF MOORESVILLE <br />ORDINANCE NO:-�-% <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MOORESVILLE PARKS AND RECREATION <br />DISTRICT'S RULES AND REGULATIONS <br />WHEREAS, the Town of Mooresville (the "Town") is a political subdivision <br />existing under the provisions of Ind. Code § 36-4-1, et. seq.; <br />WHEREAS, the Mooresville Town Council (the "Council") is the fiscal body of <br />the Town; <br />WHEREAS, the Mooresville Parks and Recreation District is a department <br />operating within the Town as established by IC § 36-10-3-3; <br />WHEREAS, the Mooresville Parks and Recreation Board ("Board"), recognized <br />and created by the Council in Ordinance 4-1987, oversees the Mooresville Parks and <br />Recreation District and has the authority to adopt the District's Rules and Regulations; <br />WHEREAS, at its regular meeting on May 10, 2021, the Board reviewed the Rules <br />and Regulations attached hereto as Exhibit A, and after due consideration, it adopted <br />said Rules and Regulations; <br />WHEREAS, now, as a result of the enforcement and penalty provisions <br />proscribed in the Rules and Regulations, the Board requests the Council review the <br />Rules and Regulations and adopt this Ordinance; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mooresville Town Council as <br />follows: <br />1. The Rules and Regulations attached herein as Exhibit A are adopted. Any <br />previously adopted Rule or Regulation inconsistent with these are hereby repealed. <br />2. This Ordinance shall be effective upon it passage by the Mooresville Town <br />Council and any publication required by law. <br />
