J - MOORESVILLE TOWN COUNCIL ORDINANCE NO. 3-2021 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONE MAPS OF THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE, INDIANA WHEREAS, the Town of Mooresville, Indiana ("Town') adopted the Mooresville Unified Development Ordinance, including the Zoning Ordinance ("Zoning Ordinance"), which provides for the administration of zoning regulations within the Town; WHEREAS, a proposal to amend the Town's zone maps was initiated by Todd and Tricia Price (Richhart's Self Storage); WHEREAS, the Town's Plan Commission published notice of a public hearing, in accordance with Ind. Code § 5-3-1, on the aforementioned zone map amendment, and subsequently held a public hearing under Ind. Code § 36-7-4-604 and Ind. Code § 36-74- 608 on July 25, 2019; WHEREAS, on September 26, 2019, the Town's Plan Commission certified its findings and made a favorable recommendation to the Town Council for the said amendment to the Towns zone maps; WHEREAS, the Town, through its Town Council, has found that that it is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the Towns citizens to amend the Town's zone maps as indicated below; WHEREAS, on November 5, 2019, the Town, through its Town Council, adopted the proposal, as certified by the Plan Commission, to amend the Town's zone maps as indicated below; and WHEREAS, inadvertently, an ordinance reflecting the Town Council's adoption was not presented or executed at the time the Town Council adopted the proposal to amend the Town's zone maps and/or has been subsequently lost or destroyed.
