Board members present were Mark Taylor, Brian Wiser, Lynn <br />Adams, Erin Bechtold, Danny Shaw, and Perry King. Supt. Brent Callahan., Asst. Supt. Kris Wilson and <br />Office Mgr. Stacy Freeman. Absent David Pearson. <br />Minutes of July 12, 2021, approved as written. Motion made by kti ''ON an seconded by Lynn <br />Adams. Motion carried. <br />.Sa-pT-r3� z rsz t <br />President Brian Wiser updated the Board on old business. The Park received the cornhole boards. The <br />facilities committee has met and brainstormed future Park ideas and is looking for another Board <br />member to be on the committee. <br />RD Productions would like to change June 17, 2022 concert to June 24, 2022. Motion to accept the <br />change of date from June 17 to June 24, 2022. Motion made by Perry King, seconded by Danny <br />Shaw. <br />Asst. Supt. Wilson presented a request from the Pack 231 Boy Scouts to overnight camp at the Park <br />on August 28 behind the Aquatic Center. Motion to approve the Pack 231 camp out. Motion made by <br />Lynn Adams, seconded by Erin Bechtold. Motion carried. <br />4sst. Supt. Wilson presented an inquiry that the Morgan County Farmers Market be moved to Pioneer <br />Park in 2022. Discission ensued. Motion to deny the Morgan County Farmers Market at Pioneer Park. <br />Motion made by Mark Taylor; motion died. Board wants to have time to think about the issue. <br />Discussion tabled. <br />Supt. Callahan asked the Board to approve the $1.00 pay increase on the Non -Reverting RECU <br />Employees retroactive to August 2, 2021. The starting rates would be Jr. Leader (High school student) <br />$10.00 per hour, Leaders (HS Diploma or equivalent) $11.00 per hour, and RECU Site Coordinator at a <br />starting rate of $12.00 per hour. Employees will continue to get the $.25 increase for each year. <br />Motion to approve the RECU employee rate increase retroactive to August 2. The rate increase will go <br />to Town Council for consideration to amend the salary ordinance. Motion made Mark Taylor, <br />seconded by Perry King. Motion carried. <br />RECU registration is up. Northwood and Waverly are on a waitlist. Newby is very close to a waitlist. <br />Zipline will be open on weekends until the end of September. <br />Splash Pad will be free and open to the public until Labor Day. <br />4sst. Supt. Wilson requested approval for the new RECU employees (the list is provided in the pre - <br />meeting notes). Motion to approve the new employees. Motion made by Erin Bechtold, seconded by <br />Lynn Adams. Motion carried. <br />
