MOORESVILLE REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION MINUTES <br />Monday, Oct. 4, 20215:00pm <br />Mooresville Government Center <br />Commission Members present: Dustin Stanley, Dana Heidenreich, Brian Culp and Virginia Perry. School <br />representative Dr. Larry Moore was also present. Redevelopment Commission Attorney Adam Steuerwald was <br />present. Project Manager Chelsey Manns was in attendance. Commissioner Ryan Taylor was absent. <br />Commissioner Stanley called the meeting to order. <br />Minutes: Minutes were presented from the Sept. 2 executive session. Commissioner Perry made the motion to <br />approve the minutes. Commissioner Culp seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. Minutes were presented <br />from the Sept. 2 Public Meeting. Commissioner Heidenreich made the motion to approve the minutes. <br />Commissioner Perry seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Financials: Financials were provided by the Clerk -Treasurer's office. Commissioner Perry made the motion to <br />approve the financials as presented. Commissioner Heidenreich seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Mooresville Business Center Update: Earthwork and grading are done. You can see where the glass is going to <br />be. We are very close to finishing with the glass. <br />Proposal presented from Banning Engineering in the amount of $4,500 for an American Land Title Association <br />survey. Any closing documents will require an updated ALTA survey. Commissioner Culp made a motion to <br />accept the proposal. Commissioner Heidenreich seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />High Street/SR 42: No specific update <br />Potential future projects: Project Manager Manns presented a proposed projects list from comments made <br />during the Sept. 2 meeting along with potential timelines. <br />The commission asked for a survey to be created and public input session set. The public input session was set <br />for 6 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Mooresville Govt. Center. A survey was to be created and distributed. <br />New Business: No new business. <br />Legal/Managerial update: Commission Attorney Steuerwald handed out the updated version of the <br />redevelopment commission handbook put together by his firm. <br />Review of Claims: The claims were presented in the amount of $24,684.97. Commissioner Culp made the <br />motion to approve the claims as presented. Commissioner Perry seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Project Manager Manns pointed out an invoice from Banning Engineering in the amount of $1,771 that was for <br />the completion of the Indiana Street project scope. The invoice was received after the claims were sent to the <br />commission. The claim needed to be approved separately so the check could be sent out. Commissioner Culp <br />made the motion to approve the additional claim as presented. Commissioner Heidenreich seconded the <br />motion, which carried 4-0. <br />
