MOORESVILLE REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION MINUTES <br />Thursday, May 5, 2022 <br />Mooresville Government Center <br />Commission Members present: Brian Culp, Dustin Stanley, Erin Pipkin and Dana Heidenreich, Project Manager <br />Chelsey Manns was in attendance. Ryan Taylor and Jake Allen were absent. Redevelopment Commission <br />Attorney Adam Steuerwald was also absent. <br />Commissioner Stanley called the meeting to order. <br />Annual report: Sam Schrader from Baker Tilly presented the annual report to the underlying taxing units. <br />Minutes: Minutes were presented from the March 3 Executive Session. Commissioner Heidenreich made the <br />motion to approve the minutes. Commissioner Culp seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Minutes were presented from the March 3 public meeting. Commissioner Heidenreich made the motion to <br />approve the minutes. Commissioner Culp seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Financials: Financials were provided by the Clerk -Treasurer's office. Commissioner Culp made the motion to <br />approve the financials as presented. Commissioner Heidenreich seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Mooresville Business Center Update: Project Manager Manns told the commission the sale of the shell building <br />to Dawson Logistics should be final by lune 28. <br />RFP for brokerage services: Commissioner Culp made a motion to table the RFP indefinitely. Commissioner <br />Pipkin seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Main Street Subcommittee: Mooresville Town Council did not appoint members to the subcommittee. <br />Police Station fencing: Commissioner Culp made a motion to table the fencing request. Commissioner <br />Heidenreich seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />New Business: June meeting needs to be changed because of conflicts for both Commissioner Stanley and <br />Project manager Manns. Commissioner Culp made a motion to have the meeting at 6 p.m. June 13. <br />Commissioner Pipkin seconded the motion, which passed 4-0. <br />Legal/Managerial update: Project Manager Manns told the commission the broadband survey was still live and <br />asked to have it shared more. <br />Review of Claims: The claims were presented in the amount of $74,562.42. Commissioner Culp made the <br />motion to approve the claims as presented. Commissioner Heidenreich seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />
