MOORESVILLE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MINUTES Thursday, May 5, 2022 Mooresville Government Center Commission Members present: Brian Culp, Dustin Stanley, Erin Pipkin and Dana Heidenreich, Project Manager Chelsey Manns was in attendance. Ryan Taylor and Jake Allen were absent. Redevelopment Commission Attorney Adam Steuerwald was also absent. Commissioner Stanley called the meeting to order. Annual report: Sam Schrader from Baker Tilly presented the annual report to the underlying taxing units. Minutes: Minutes were presented from the March 3 Executive Session. Commissioner Heidenreich made the motion to approve the minutes. Commissioner Culp seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. Minutes were presented from the March 3 public meeting. Commissioner Heidenreich made the motion to approve the minutes. Commissioner Culp seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. Financials: Financials were provided by the Clerk -Treasurer's office. Commissioner Culp made the motion to approve the financials as presented. Commissioner Heidenreich seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. Mooresville Business Center Update: Project Manager Manns told the commission the sale of the shell building to Dawson Logistics should be final by lune 28. RFP for brokerage services: Commissioner Culp made a motion to table the RFP indefinitely. Commissioner Pipkin seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. Main Street Subcommittee: Mooresville Town Council did not appoint members to the subcommittee. Police Station fencing: Commissioner Culp made a motion to table the fencing request. Commissioner Heidenreich seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. New Business: June meeting needs to be changed because of conflicts for both Commissioner Stanley and Project manager Manns. Commissioner Culp made a motion to have the meeting at 6 p.m. June 13. Commissioner Pipkin seconded the motion, which passed 4-0. Legal/Managerial update: Project Manager Manns told the commission the broadband survey was still live and asked to have it shared more. Review of Claims: The claims were presented in the amount of $74,562.42. Commissioner Culp made the motion to approve the claims as presented. Commissioner Heidenreich seconded the motion, which carried 4-0.
