Resolution 1-2022 <br />A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE HOURLY WAGES OF THE PART TIME <br />SEASONAL EMPLOYEES FOR THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE'S <br />PARK AND RECREATION DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the Mooresville Parks and Recreation District is a department <br />operating within the Town as established by IC § 36-10-3-3; <br />WHEREAS, the Mooresville Parks and Recreation Board ("Board"), recognized <br />and created by the Mooresville Town Council in Ordinance 4-1987, oversees the <br />Mooresville Park and Recreation District and has the authority to approve the wages for <br />the employees in that department pursuant to Indiana Code section 36-10-3-10(b). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mooresville Park and Recreation <br />Board as follows: <br />PARKS DEPARTMENT - Part-time and Seasonal Eml2loyees <br />Position Base Rate <br />Lifeguard <br />$10.00 - $11.00 per hour <br />Cashier/Concession Worker <br />$10.00 - $11.00 per hour <br />Park Maintenance <br />$12.00 - $15.00 per <br />hour <br />Office Assistant <br />$10.00 - $11.00 per <br />hour <br />Program Assistant <br />$10.00 - $11.00 per <br />hour <br />Summer Camp Counselor <br />$11.00 - $12.00 per <br />hour <br />Summer Camp Director <br />$13.00 - $14.00 per <br />hour <br />RECU Leader" <br />$12.00 - $14.00 per <br />hour <br />RECU Site Coordinator <br />$13.00 - $14.00 per <br />hour <br />Manager In Training <br />$11.00 - $12.00 per <br />hour <br />Aquatic Center Assistant Manager <br />$14.00 — $15.00 <br />per hour <br />Aquatic Center Manager <br />$15.00 — $16.00 <br />per hour <br />Special Event Worker" <br />$15.00 per hour <br />"Morning shift differential for RECU leaders will be $2 per hour (for a rate of $14/hour) . <br />Break Camp shifts will be paid at the set RECU Leader rate of $12/hour. <br />"Special Event rate will be a flat $15 per hour (does not include yearly increase) <br />Part time and seasonal employees will be eligible to receive an increase of $.25 per hour <br />each returning year, subject to an appropriation by Town Council. <br />
