Ordinance 9 -2022 <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF <br />ELECTED OFFICIALS, OFFICERS, BOARD AND COMMISSION <br />MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWN OF MOORESVILLE <br />Whereas, the Town Council for the Town of Mooresville is responsible for setting the <br />compensation for its Elected Officials, Officers, Board and Commission Members and <br />Employees for the year 2023. <br />BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED that the following represents the Salary Ordinance for the <br />Town of Mooresville for the year 2023 to be paid as follows: <br />SECTION I. MOORESVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />Paid from General Fund Rate of Pay (to be paid in equal bi-weekly <br />increments for salary and rate of pay by <br />hourly pay periods bi-weekly) <br />Full Time Officers <br />Police Chief <br />Captain <br />Lieutenant (3) <br />Sergeant (3) <br />Patrolman <br />Probationary Patrolman <br />Detectives <br />Training pay (additional per hour in which a <br />police officer has a trainee with them) <br />Clothing allowance (police officers) <br />Communications <br />IDACS Coordinator <br />Asst IDACS Coordinator <br />Communications Officers <br />Part -Time Communications Officers <br />Dispatchers in training (part-time) <br />$2,648.45 bi-weekly <br />3 0.3 7 per hour <br />28.21 per hour <br />27.43 per hour <br />26.73 per hour <br />26.25 per hour <br />27.43 per hour <br />1.00 per hour <br />750.00 per year per officer <br />24.43 per hour <br />24.19 per hour <br />23.95 per hour <br />18.00 per hour <br />13.00 per hour <br />
