Mooresville Metropolitan <br />Police Department <br />Board of Police Commissioners <br />Ernie Wilson <br />Fred Settle <br />Christopher Hobbick <br />MOORESVILLE POLICE COMMISSION MINUTES <br />These are the Minutes of the scheduled meeting of the Mooresville Police Commission held at <br />the Mooresville Police Department on July 21th, 2022 at 6:00 PM. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Ernie Wilson, Fred Settle, Christopher Hobbick <br />ALSO PRESENT: Attorney Charles Braun, Brian Anderson, Interim -Chief Brock <br />Chipman, <br />Meeting called to order at 6:00 PM. <br />Ernie Wilson made a motion to accept the minutes from the executive meeting on May 13tH <br />2022. Commissioner Settles second. No discussion. Motion passed. <br />Ernie Wilson made a motion to accept the minutes from the executive meeting on May 14tH <br />2022. Commissioner Settles second. No discussion. Motion passed. <br />Ernie Wilson made a motion to accept the minutes from the May 19th, Mooresville Police <br />Commission meeting. Commissioner Settles second. No discussion. Motion passed. <br />Commissioner Hobbick gave an update on the process to hire the next Chief of police. He sated <br />they received the background checks and hope to schedule meeting with the final candidates next <br />week. After the meetings they hope to make a nomination for Chief of Police sometime next <br />week. <br />Interim -Chief Chipman spoke about the department stats for May 2022. <br />Interim -Chief Chipman spoke about the department stats for June 2022. <br />Commissioner Hobbick then read off questions sent to him by Town Council member Shane <br />Williams in regards to the Town Councils involvement with the Chief of Police.
