TIMI �. i,i. �.. i... i. C F� •.!December 12, 2022 The meeting was called to order at 7:01 pm. Board members present were Mark Taylor, David Pearson, Matt Saner, Erin Bechtold, Lynn Adams, Supt. Kris Wilson and Office Mgr. Stacy Freeman. Absent, Danny Shaw and Asst. Supt. Keelan Simpson. Minutes of November 14, 2022, Executive Session, approved as presented. Motion made by Mark Taylor, seconded by David Pearson. Motion carried. Minutes of November 14, 2022, Board Meeting, approved as presented. Motion made by Mark Taylor, seconded by David Pearson. Motion carried. Minutes of November 30, 2022, Work Session, approved as presented. Motion made by Mark Taylor, seconded by Matt Saner. Motion carried. Supt. Wilson informed the Park Board of the Lions Club's donation of $4123.28. To upgrade the electricity, The Lions Club also has agreed to pay 1/3 of the electric upgrade at Shelter 1, and Poor Jacks has also agreed to pay 1/3 of the upgrade. The Park Board was asked for permission to pay the remaining 1/3 of the total cost. Total cost, not to exceed $10,000. Motion for Park to pay 1/3 of the total cost out of the donation fund to upgrade the electricity at shelter 1 to a 400 -amp service. Motion made by Lynn Adams, seconded by Matt Saner. Motion carried. Supt. Wilson is working on updating contracts for 2023, which will be presented in the Jan Board Meeting. Resolution 5-2022 (declaring park surplus) was presented to the Park Board. Motion to approve Resolution 5-2022 by Matt Saner, seconded by David Pearson. Motion carried. Supt. Wilson asked for the Park Board's approval to sell alcohol at the 2023 Concert Series. Motion to approve alcohol sales at the 2023 Concert Series by David Pearson, seconded by Matt Saner. Motion carried. 4-1 Supt. Wilson recognized outgoing Board Members Dr. David Pearson and Erin Bechtold for their outstanding service to the park. The 2023 fees were presented to the Park Board. The board was asked to approve the proposed 2023 fees, which will take effect on January 1, 2023. Motion to approve the 2023 fees made by Mark Taylor, seconded by David Pearson. Motion carried. The Park Office will be open December 27-29 from 9 am -4 pm. (We will be closed on December 23, 26, 30, and January 2). The office will reopen during regular hours on Tuesday, January 3. Supt. Wilson has advertised two Park Board vacancies and hopes to identify some candidates shortly.
