MOORESVILLE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MINUTES <br />Monday, Dec. 21, 2022 1:30 p.m. <br />Mooresville Government Center <br />Commission Members present: Brian Culp, Erin Pipkin and Ryan Taylor. Project Manager Chelsey Manns <br />was also present. Redevelopment Commission Attorney Adam Steuerwald, schools representative Jake <br />Allen and Commissioner Dana Heidenreich were absent. <br />Commissioner Taylor called the meeting to order. <br />Purchase agreement: Project Manager Manns presented a purchase agreement with Indianapolis <br />French Investments Corp for the 16.9 acres north of the shell building at $69,000 per acre. The <br />inspection period is 120 days. <br />The buyer intends to develop a healthcare cold storage and packaging facility on the property <br />containing no less than 30,000 sq ft, with an investment of no less than $4 million and employing no less <br />than 25 employees within three years of the date of closing with an annual average salary of not less <br />than $60,000. <br />Commissioner Culp made a motion to accept the agreement and naming Commissioner Taylor as <br />signatory. Commissioner Pipkin seconded the motion, which carried 3-0. <br />The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan, 5, 2022, <br />Commissioner Culp made the motion to adjourn.
