MOORESVILLE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MINUTES <br />Thursday, <br />Thursday, August 3, 2023 6:00pm <br />Mooresville Government Center <br />Commission Members present: Brian Culp, Erin Pipkin, Shane Williams and Dana Heidenreich were <br />present. School representative Dr. Jake Allen was present. Project Manager Chelsey Manns was absent. <br />Redevelopment Commission Attorney Adam Steuerwald was present. <br />Commissioner Culp called the meeting to order and followed by the pledge and an invocation by <br />Commissioner Culp. <br />Minutes: Minutes were presented from the July 6, 2023 executive session. Commissioner Pipkin made <br />the motion to approve minutes as presented. Commissioner Heidenreich seconded the motion, which <br />carried 4-0. Public meeting minutes from July 6, 2023 were presented. Commissioner Pipkin made a <br />motion to approve the minutes as presented. Commissioner Heidenreich seconded the motion, which <br />carried 4-0. <br />Financials: Financials were provided by the Clerk -Treasurer's office via email. Commissioner Culp stated <br />there is an overall current assets of $14,921,669.91. Commissioner Pipkin made the motion to approve <br />the financials as presented. Commissioner Heidenreich seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. <br />Old Business: <br />Mooresville Business Center Update: Commissioner Culp shared there is a bill in the docket for <br />bushhog services for the remaining properties as it was mowed in July. <br />Shell Building: The shell building is set to close Monday, August 7". The Commission has finalized the <br />paperwork but is awaiting closing documentation from the buyer. <br />Fire Station Update: No update. <br />Patel Site Update: Attorney Steuerwald shared there is no update at this time. <br />Main Street RFP: The Commission received three proposals from DLZ, V3 and Banning Engineering. A <br />call will be scheduled for next week with the steering committee with interviews, if needed, to follow <br />the week of August 14th. A recommendation from the committee is expected at the September <br />meeting. <br />
