MOORESVILLE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br /> JANUARY 20,1999 <br /> <br />The Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals January meeting was held at the Mooresville <br />Town Hall on January 20, 1999. Members present were Alan Kramer, Veto Kimmel, <br />Donald Barry and Brent Plunkett were present, with Mike Young being absent. Tim <br />Currens Town Attorney was also present for the meeting. <br /> <br />The Minutes from the December 16,1998 passed 4-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />Ed Fisher representing Union Planters Bank asking for a sign variance to place a <br />monument sign at the entrace of what is now NBD bank, which would add a sign therefore <br />needing a variance. <br /> <br />Andy Pygman asked how far the sign would be set back, his concern was for safety. <br />He was assured the sign would not restrict vision for traffic. <br />After discussion, Alan Kramer read the facts of findings. <br /> <br />Motion from Donald Bar~y to approve the variance for the sign Brent made the second, <br />vote to approve the variance was 4-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />The next item was selection of officers for 1999. Donald Barry nominated Brent Plunkett <br />For Chairman the second came from Vem Kimmel the vote was 3-0 with none opposed. <br />Veto Kimmel nominated Donald Barry for Vice Chairman with Brent bringing the second, <br />The vote was 3-0 with none opposed. Vern Kimmel will stay Board secretary for 1999. <br /> <br />The motion to adjourn was made by Brent Plunkett to adjourn motion seconded by Donald <br />Barry, motion carried 4-0. , <br /> <br />Breht Plunkett: Chairman <br /> <br />vern Ki~-n[n~l: ~ecre~t~ <br /> <br /> <br />
