<br />------ <br /> <br />',,- <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />MOORESVILLLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />WEDNESDAY,DECEMBER 15,1999 <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met Wednesday December 15, 1999 following the <br />Board of Zoning Appeals meeting at the Mooresville Town Hall due to Christmas <br />Holiday. <br /> <br />Commission members present were Joel Beebe, Mike Young, Alan Marshall, Andy <br />Pygman, Robert Williamson, Charles McGuire, John Ehrhart, Town Attorney, Tim <br />Currens was present. Member Tim Bennett was absent. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, second by Commissioner Ehrhart to <br />approve minutes of November 17, 1999 with the change of spelling of Williams to <br />Williamson. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />J.K. and G.A. Mead presented a request for a Rezone ITom R-1 to R-2 at 231 East South <br />Street. They had purchased the property in June and it burned in September, they want to <br />build one double now where house existed, and another double later. The lot size is 100 <br />feet by 200 feet - alley on 2 sides. 16 'h ' setback on ITont of house. The Comprehensive <br />Plan area is in 1- I Light Industrial and Business Districts. <br /> <br />Patricia Hatton 236 East South Street noted that Bob Conrad lives immediately next to <br />lot, say they foresee approximately 4 - 8 cars and 8 kids They are basically worried <br />about traffic. Mrs. Hatton says lot is not big enough for 2 doubles. <br /> <br />Louise Conrad asked how large each double would be. 2 bedroom per each double - 1 <br />story. <br /> <br />Harold Gutzwiler ofE.D.C. suggested not to rezone property to R-2 because doubles <br />would be incompatible with Comprehensive Plan Industrial in allowing transition The <br />existing Sawmill was grand fathered in. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Pygman, Commissioner Young seconded to <br />recommend to Town Council rezoning request to be denied based upon Comprehensive <br />Plan 7-0. Town Council will meet December 21,1999. This request will be heard at that <br />time <br /> <br />Holloway & Associates presented an Amendment to Ed Robb Minor Plat to reconfigure <br />lots I and 2 on State Road 42, 129 Trace Run. The four lot minor plat was approved <br />approximately 5 years ago. The reconfiguration consists of moving the lot line for a <br />building spot overlooking Lake and giving lake access to lot I. Both lots are more than <br />an acre, and will not create any additional lots. The amended plat shows existing house, <br />he has a septic permit for lot 2 and green cards. These lots are subject to original <br />covenants, and have changed the easements for road and lake maintenance. <br />
