<br />" <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />THURSDAY, JANUARY 22, 1998,7:00 P. M. <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met in a regular scheduled meeting on Thursday, January 22, <br />1998, at 7:00 P. M. at the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Commission members present were: Joel Beebe, Vern Kimme~ Bill Abbott, Steve Campbell, <br />lVlike Young, John Ehrhart, Charles McGuire, Tim Bennett, and newly appointed member Andy <br />Pygman. No members were absent. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Commi~sioner Young, second by Commissioner Abbott to approve the <br />minutes of the December 17, 1997 meeting. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Reorganization of the Commission: Motion was made by Commissioner Abbott, second by <br />Commissioner McGuire to keep the same officers. Motion carried 9-0. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Commissioner McGuire, second by Commissioner Abbott to keep Vern <br />Kimmel and Mike Young as Representatives to The Board of Zoning Appeals. Motion carried 9- <br />O. <br /> <br />President Joel Beebe re-appointed Charles McGuire and Bill Abbott to the Technical Review <br />Committee. <br /> <br />First on the Agenda, Ross Holloway of Holloway and Associates presented the Shoulders 3 Lot <br />Minor Plat located at 570 Bunker Hill Road. One lot of this parcel is at the intersection of Three <br />Point Lake Road and BunkerhiJl and OVerpeck Roads. It is a 5 acre parcel total with easements on <br />each side and is serviced by public water. There is an existing house on Lot 3. Therc is a <br />common drive for Lots 2 & 3. The drive on the North Side will be closed. Motion was made by <br />Commissioner McGuire, second by Commissioner Kimmel to accept the request for the 3 lot <br />Minor Plat. Motion carried 9-0. <br /> <br />Rosss Holloway presented the Robert Luedeman 3 Lot Minor Plat at 211 Gasburg Road. This is <br />at the intersection of Greencastle and Gasburg Road on the N. E. corner. Lot 1 1.97 acres, Lot 2 <br />3.36 acres with a lake and existing garage. Lot 3 2.04 acres with an access to Greencastle Road. <br />There is a 55 foot easement and parcel is serviced by public water. The Tech Review Committee <br />question the Legal Notice advertisement on January 7th, 1998 wlùch stated a rezone. Town <br />Attorney Tim Currens said an additional notice was advertised on January 14, 1998 for a 3 Lot <br />lV1inor Plat. At Attorney Curren's request the notice with green cards did comply vliith a 3 Lot <br />Minor Plat. Motion was made by Commissioner Young, second by Commissioner Abbott to <br />accept the request for a 3 Lot lV1inor Plat with the condition a Driveway Pennit will be secured. <br />Motion carried 9-0. <br /> <br />_ President Beebe opened a complaint letter concerning property at 136 Franklin Street owned by <br />Jesse McQueen operating an auto repair shop in the garage. Since this is zoned R-I, this is a <br />violation. Motion was made by Commissioner Abbott, second by Commissioner Ehrhart to <br />
