<br />~ <br /> <br />MOORESVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, JULY 28, 1994 - 7:30 P.M. <br />MOORESVILLE TOWN COURT <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met in regular session <br />Thursday, July 28, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mooresville Town <br />Court, 215 E. High Street. <br /> <br />Members present were Charles McGuire, Vern Kimmel, John <br />Ehrhart, Tim Cummins, Tim Bennett and Mike Young. <br /> <br />Members absent were Joel Beebe, sill Abbott and Art <br />Raney. <br /> <br />In the absence of Chairman Beebe and Vice Chairman <br />Abbott, Charles McGuire chaired the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Vern Kimmel, second by Tim Bennett to <br />approve the minutes of the previous meeting as submitted. <br />Motion carried 6 - O. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Mr. Chris White of Davis Development Comp~ny appeared <br />before the Plan Commission to request final plat approval for <br />the Davis Development located on Hadley Road. The petition <br />is for approval of section I and II consisting of 144 lots. <br />Section I entrance is located on Johnson Road and Section II <br />entrance will also be on Johnson Road. Minimum lot size will <br />be 10,000 square feet. No more than 20% of the homes in <br />these sections will be 1100 to 1300 square feet, at least 20% <br />of the homes in these sections will be at least 1650 square <br />feet. The model home will be at least 1650 square feet. <br /> <br />Charles McGuire advised the Commission that the final <br />plat filing for Davis Development complies with all items <br />reviewed by the technical review committee. <br /> <br />Adjoining property owner Vickie Lassiter expressed <br />concern about the effect of the repair to Hadley Road on her <br />property. Mr. White advised Mrs. Lassiter that she would be <br />involved with the solution to the problem of sloping the <br />ditch. Mr'. White advised Mrs. Lassiter that the repair to <br />Hadley Road would be dealt with through the County. <br /> <br />Mr. Lloyd Ebert, 760 Johnson Road which is the southwest <br />corner, Mr. Ebert voiced concern in regard to drainage in <br />this area. <br /> <br />Mr. Arvin Smith, 740 Johnson Road also voiced concern in <br />regard to drainage in this area. <br /> <br />'-.../ <br />
