MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION

The Mooresville Plan Commission met at its regularly
scheduled meeting December 28, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. at the
Mooresville Town Hall. Present were Board Members Joel Beebe,
William Abbott, Stephen Edwards, Vern Kimmel, David Barry, Greg
Staum, and Shirley Welker. The first item on the agenda was the
rezoning petition of Roger D. Raymond and Karen Raymond. The
Board's Attorney advised that the proper legal notices had not
gone out and no hearing could be held. The petitioners were not
present. Interested parties present were Dennis Knerim and Floyd

Duncan, adjoining land owners. Mr. Duncan of 177 North Indiana

stated that he did want to be present at any hearing. The Board

advised him that notices would be required and that he should

check the newspaper for the publication which would be required.

The next item on the agenda was the Building Inspector's report of

an alleged violation at State Road 42 and Bethel Road. Building

Inspector Beikman stated that there was no obvious business being

conducted and no particular problems that he observed other than

some crafts in a building. Bill Abbott moved that this matter be

tabled until a formal complaint was filed. This was seconded by

David Barry and unanimously carried.

The next issue concerned the alleged ordinance violation at

39 1/2 West Main Street. Bill Abbott moved that Building

Inspector Beikman take appropriate actions to investigate and shut

this down if he felt this was a violation. This was seconded by

Steve Edwards and unanimously carried.

--
