<br />I <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />~- <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met at its regular meeting place, <br />the Town Hall, on July 23, 1987 at 7:30 P.M. Present were board <br />members, Steve Edwards, Bill Abbott, Tilford Bailey, Dave Barry, <br />Joel Beebe, and Warren Franklin. Also standing in for board attorney, <br />Timothy C. Currens was attorney, Michael A. Ksenak. The board's <br /> <br />chairman, Vern Kimmel was absent from the meeting and acting as <br /> <br />chairman for said meeting was Steve Edwards. Mr. Edwards called the <br />meeting to order and determined that a quroum was present. The board <br />proceeded to approve the minutes of the prior meeting. The board <br />then moved to the first item on the agenda, that being approval of <br />the Geroge Fox Subdivision Plat. Present representing Mr. Fox was <br />attorney David Lawson. Mr. Lawson advised that the proceeding was <br />continued from the June 25th meeting due to a failure to publish <br />legal notice in the newspaper. That problem had been rectified and <br />Mr. Fox now wishes to proceed. Mr. Lawson advised that there is <br />in the record an amended Fox Subdivsion Section Two containing <br />restricted covenants. He further advised that there were sixteen <br /> <br /> <br />lots in the proposed Plat and he believed that Mr. Fox was turning <br /> <br /> <br />farmland into more productive property. He advised that the property <br /> <br /> <br />was located in the Buffer Zone and that the Town had jurisdiction <br /> <br /> <br />over subdivisions in that area. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Lawson provided a letter from the Morgan County Health <br /> <br /> <br />Department indicating that the proposed septic systems met the <br /> <br /> <br />minimum requirements imposed by the County Health Department. He <br /> <br /> <br />further advised that the lots were rather large and that there would <br /> <br /> <br />be a substantial cost for each individual lot which should result <br />
