<br />MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met at its regular meeting place, <br /> <br />the Mooresville Town Hall, at 7:30 P.M. on December 17, 1987. <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />I <br />! <br />i <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />, <br /> <br />were board members Vern Kimmel, William Abbott, Steve Edwards, Tilford <br /> <br />¡) 1/ V/'O r3 ¡U?,P..V <br />Bailey, Warren Franklin, and Joel/Beebe. The board's attorney, <br /> <br />Timothy C. Currens was present along with building inspector <br /> <br />Joseph Beikman. The board determined a qµorum present and approved <br /> <br />the minutes of the last meeting. <br /> <br />The first item to come before the board was the rezoning request <br /> <br />of Myron Westenhofer of 560 Bridge Street, Mooresville, Indiana. <br /> <br />Mr. Westenhofer requested a change from residential to general <br /> <br />business to put in a 40 by 48 foot building for automobile repair. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Westenhofer was present in person and by counsel, Mark Peden. <br /> <br />'- Mr. Peden advised that there were other similar uses in the area and <br /> <br />that this was primarily a general business and local business area. <br /> <br />Pictures were introduced of the house and enjoining area. There were <br /> <br />no remonstrators present. After discussion a motion was made to <br /> <br />grant a favorable recommendation of this rezoning to the Town Board <br /> <br />of Trustees by Steve Edwards, this was seconded by Warren Franklin <br /> <br />and carried by a vote of six (6) in favor and one (1) member <br /> <br />abstaining. <br /> <br />The next item to come before the board was the alleged unsafe building <br /> <br />violation on the Lowry property located at the corner of Main and <br /> <br />Indiana Street on the northwest side. A representative doing the <br /> <br />construction work was present and advised that the old chimney had <br /> <br />been removed, flashing added, new deck and sheeting had been placed <br /> <br />"- on the roof and that the roofing would be completed upon a sufficient <br /> <br />change in the weather to finish this job. The board was also <br /> <br />advised that new drains had been placed from the roof underneath <br />
