<br />---- <br /> <br />--- <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />MINUTES OF MOORESVILLE PLAN CO~MISSION <br />January 24, 1985 <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met at its regularly scheduled meeting <br /> <br />on January 24, 1985 at the Mooresville Town Hall. Present were Board 11embers <br /> <br />William Abbott, Stephen Edwards, Wendell Thaler, Dave Barry, Helen Knight, <br /> <br />Bud Swisher and Tilford Bailey. Building Inspector, Joe Beikman was present <br /> <br />and the Board's Attorney, Timothy C. Currens, was also present. Vice Chairman <br /> <br />Abbott acknowledged that there was a quorum present and the Board proceeded to <br /> <br />approve the minutes of the prior meeting. <br /> <br />Bill Abbott then proceeded to the first item on the agenda that being <br /> <br />reorganization of the Board's officers. The meeting was opened up for nominations <br /> <br />from the Board and Steve Edwards nominated Dave Barry for Chairman of the Plan <br /> <br />Commission. Wendell Thaler seconded the nomination and moved that nominations <br /> <br />be closed. This was seconded by Steve Edwards. The Plan Commission then <br /> <br />unanimously elected David Barry chairman of the Mooresville Plan Commission <br /> <br />for the year 1985. Chairman Barry then took control of the meeting and opened <br /> <br />up nominations for Vice Chairman. Steve Edwards nominated Wendell Thaler and <br /> <br />William Abbott seconded the motion and moved that nominations be closed. There <br /> <br />was a second and the Board then proceeded to unanimously elect Wendell Thaler <br /> <br />as vice chairman for the lfuoresville Plan Commission for the year 1985. The <br /> <br />next nomination was for secretary. Steve Edwards nominated Tilford Bailey and <br /> <br />Bud Swisher seconded the nomination and moved that nominations be closed. <br /> <br />This was seconded and Tilford Bailey was unanimously elected Secretary of the <br /> <br />Plan Commission for the year 1985. <br />
