<br />---- <br /> <br />'-- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met at a specially called meeting one week <br /> <br />early due to the Christmas holiday, said meeting taking place December 18, 1986 <br /> <br />at the Mooresville Town Hall. Present were Board Members Steve Edwards, William <br /> <br />Abbott, Joel Beebe, Tilford Baily, Dave Barry, Vernon Kimmell and Building Inspector <br /> <br />Joe Beikman. The Board's Attorney Tim Currens was also present. <br /> <br />Chairman Edwards found that there was a quorum present and proceeded to the <br /> <br />approval of the minutes of the prior meeting. The Board then proceeded with the <br /> <br />first item on the agend which was the petition of Harold W. Lloyd and Jane M. Lloyd <br /> <br />regarding the real property located at 9335 South State Road 67, Camby, Indiana 46113, <br /> <br />commonly known as Pioneer Plaza. Mr. Lloyd was present and proceeded to tell the <br /> <br />Board that it was his request to reZone said property from local business to general <br /> <br />business in order to consummate a sale of one-half of the property. He advised that <br /> <br />the property known as Pioneer Plaza was to be sold to Richard A. Jones of 5920 Milhouse <br /> <br />Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. He stated that he wanted to get out of the rental <br /> <br />business at said location and felt that this would be a favorable zoning use to any <br /> <br />new owner and to the area. Mr. Jones was present and advised that he currently runs <br /> <br />a car lot on State Road 67 and intended at some point to move that business to this <br /> <br />location along with renting out the rest of the building. He stated that he <br /> <br />intended to fix up the area so that it looked better and felt this was a compatible <br /> <br />use due to its location on State Road 67 and other business in the area. <br /> <br />The Board then asked if there were any people in the audience which wished to <br /> <br />speak on said zoning request. Joyce Tandy of 418 Ferguson Road, Camby, Indiana was <br /> <br />present and ask about any business that might be interested in going in some of <br /> <br />the shops located within the strip center. Mr. Jones stated that he had talked <br /> <br />with people regarding a donut shop, cabinet shop, meat market, and tire store but <br /> <br />had made no commitments. He stated he wanted people in the center that were <br /> <br />compatible. Next to speak was Harold Weddle of 9347 State Road 67, Camby, Indiana <br />
