BOARD OF Z()N~ING APPEAl~S <br />JAN-U'ARY 21,1998 <br /> <br />Thc Town of Moorcsx,illc Board of Zoning Appcals mci fbr thck regular mccting on <br />January 21,1998 at 7:00 p.m. Boards of Zoning Appeals members present were, Michael <br />Young, ,klan Kramer, Vern Kimmel, Don BarD.' and Brant Plunkett. Thn Currens Town Attorney <br />was also present for the meeting. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Chah~nan Michael Young. A motion to approve the minutes from <br />the December 17,1997 meeting was made b) Alan Kramer, the second came from <br />Brant Plunkett. Motion carried 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />Scott Ricketts came before the board requesting a variance for a set back to build a thi'ee <br />unit dwelling, at 134 E. Main street this would mean going from an R 1 to an R 2 Zoning. There <br />were Concerns from the floor. Most concerns were of parking and traffic in the alley. <br /> <br />)d~ter the reading of facts and tindings by Chahman Xfichael Young a motion ~as by Donald <br />BanT. to mm down the request as presented the second came from Alan Kramer. motion carded <br />5-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway came before the board for T & W asking for a Setback of a gas pump canopy <br />At South Bridge Crossing. After a few questions from the board and reading of fhcts and <br />No motion was made at this time. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway for BD'ant Hopwood of KDH for a back yard setback variance fi'om <br />30 feet to 20 feet for honres in Paradise Place..~ter readings of facts and th~ding a motion <br />was made by ?dan Kramer and seconded by Donald Ba~D' to approve the variance. <br />motion camcd 5-0 with nonc opposed. <br /> <br />:klan Kramcr was nominated for 1998 BZA Board Chairman by ][)on BarD.', seconded by <br />Brant Plunkett. The vote carded 5-0 for Alan Kramer. Alan l,d'amer nominated <br />Brant Plunkctt for Vice Chahman with the sccond coming from Donald Ban3.' the <br />nomination can'ied 4-0 for Brant Plunkett.
