<br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />SEPTEMBER 26, 2002, 7:00 P. M <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met on Thursday, September 26,2002 at 7:00 P. M. at <br />the Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Commission members present were: President Mike Young, Chris Crouch, Andy <br />Pygman, Jim Bruner, Robert Williamson, Robert Corbin, and John Ehrhart. Tim Bennett <br />and Charles McGuire were absent. Town attomey Tim Currens was present. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Ehrhart, second by Commissioner Bruner to approve <br />corrected minutes which included changing the time of the meeting to 7:00 P. M. in the <br />title, addition of Chris Crouch present, on seventh page on the bottom a motion to not <br />allow a continuance for the Arbor Homes on Hadley Road petition, and motion to <br />disapprove the same petition as the land was not in the best use of the parcel was 5-2. On <br />page 3 correction of name from Williams to Williamson. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />First on the agenda was a letter from Gary C Padgett Jr. living at 4255 E. State Rd. 144. <br />The complaint is that Ray Blair has not mowed weeds and vegetation on his property for <br />two years. Town attorney Tim Currens will send a letter. <br /> <br />Next a letter from Bill Moore concerning the Guy's and Gal's Beauty shop located at 185 <br />E. Carlisle Street. He believes this establishment was remodeled without a permit. The <br />owner is Nancy Cornett. Building Inspector Joe Beikman will check on the permit. <br /> <br />Town attorney Tim Currens explained to the commission he had told Ross Holloway he <br />felt since the property located at Highway 67 and 144 (northwest quadrant) needed to be <br />rezoned before the commission looked at a request for a special exception. This item will <br />be on the agenda at another meeting. <br /> <br />Next on the agenda was a request for a two lot minor plat at 1595 Greencastle Road <br />owned by Jerry and Unda Smith. This request was approved a little over a year ago, but <br />the plat was never signed. Building Inspector Joe Beikman thought they needed to re- <br />file. Town attorney Tim Currens said they just needed to sign the plat. <br /> <br />Building Inspector Joe Beikman reported thirty-three (33) permits and one hundred nine <br />(109) inspections. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before the commission at this time, a motion was <br />made by Commissioner Bruner, second by Commissioner Crouch to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />The next meeting of the Mooresville Plan Commission will he held on Thursday, October <br />24, 2002. <br />
