Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals <br /> June 18, 1997 <br /> <br />The Town of Mooresville Board of Zoning Appeals met for their regular scheduled meeting <br />on June 18, 1997 at the Mooresville Town Hall, 26 S. Indiana Street at 7:00 p.m. <br />Board of Zoning Appeals members present were Michael Young, Alan Kramer, Vern Kimmel <br />Don Barry and Brent Plunkett. Board of Zoning Appeals attorney Tim Currens was represented <br />by Rod Bray for thc meeting. <br /> <br />Veto Kimmel made the motion to approve the minutes as submitted of the May 21, 1997 <br />meeting with Brent Plunkett making the second. Motion passed 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />Daryl Swinney came before the board seeking a Special Exception for a Used car <br />lot at 998 S St. Rd. 67, near Crosby Road. Motion was made by Brent Plunkett to grant the <br />Special Exception with a second being made by Vem Kimmel. Motion was carded 5-0 with <br />none opposed. <br /> <br />Michelle Moore represented The Mooresville Christian School asking for a Special Exception for <br />a Middle School which is now zoned for a church. Don Barry made a motion to grant the Special <br />Exception for the Mooresville Christian School with the second being made by <br />Brent Plunkett. Motion passed 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway came forward for Ned Rhodes Development {Pioneer Country Estates } for a <br />variance for a sidewalk to only the south side of Wagon Trail because of a slope on the other <br />fide, also for a sign being erected at the entrance of the development. A motion was made by <br />Veto Kimmel to pass the variance and the second was made by Alan Kramer. The motion was <br />padded 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />Ross Holloway represented Randy Beck for a set back Variance from 30 ft. to 20 ft. <br />Also stipulated that the apartments will have no rear doors or rear patios. Don Barry made the <br />motion to pass the variance with the second being made by Alan Kramer. The motion <br />was passed 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br />A variance request was made for a 15 ft. set back from thc existing 40 ft. on Lot 1 at 151 <br />Crosby Road by Ross Holloway for Marilyn Swango. Motion was made by Vem Kimmel to <br />pass the variance and a second by Brent Plunkett. Motion passed 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> ? <br /> r Home Remodeling ask for a variance for an attached garage at 1369 <br />Rosebeny Ct. The wrong date was published Home Remodeling will need to republish <br />and resend letters to property owners. No motion was made at this time. <br /> <br />With no further business to come before the board at this time a motion was made by Vern <br />Kimmel and seconded by Donald Barry. Motion was carded 5-0 with none opposed. <br /> <br /> <br />
