<br />MOORESVILLE PLAN COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />THURSDAY, AUGUST. 25, 2005 <br /> <br />The Mooresville Plan Commission met on Thursday, August 25, 2005 at 6:p.m. at the <br />Mooresville Town Hall. <br /> <br />Commission members present were; Chairman Mike Young, Charles McGuire, Troy <br />Bryant, Charles Berwick, Robert Corbin, John Ehrhart, Robert Williamson, Darrell <br />Brown and James Logan. Town Attorney, Tim Currens was present. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Bryant, second by Commissioner Berwick to <br />Approve the minutes from the July 28, 2005 meeting, motion carried 9-0 <br /> <br />The first item on the agenda was a rezone to PUD-R from Agricultural of the Jessup <br />Property on Hadley Road. This had been continued from June. Chairman Young read a <br />fax letter asking that this matter be continued until a later date. A motion to deny the <br />request for another continuance by Commission Bryant, second by Commissioner <br />McGuire. Motion carried 9-0. <br /> <br />The next item on the agenda was Holloway Engineering, representing Dan Roberts <br />Preliminary Plat on Keller Hill Road, that had been continued from the July, 2005 <br />meeting. After handing out pass outs to the Commission Mr. Holloway explained that <br />this PUD Residential had gone before the Mooresville Town Council on June 21, 2005, <br />receiving approval with three issues. 1- To limit the size of accessory buildings. The <br />accessory buildings will be limited to 15 hundred square feet. And a maximum height of <br />20 feet. 2- No accessory buildings on Lot #10. Mr. Holloway pointed out the note <br />showing, that no accessory building is to be built on lot #10. 3- That a standard fire <br />hydrant be installed at the cul-de-sac and a 6 inch main service it. There will be a six inch <br />main along Keller Hill Road in the future, there will be a standard fire hydrant in staled in <br />the cul-de-sac. The dwelling size has been changed to 24 hundred square feet to be more <br />in line with Jessup Place. Mr. Holloway stated that the road will be 20 feet in width, also <br />the cul-de-sac will have 45 feet of pavement and a 55 foot radius for the right of way. <br />Commissioner Logan asked Mr. Holloway if there was an established amount for <br />membership and annual assessments. Mr. Holloway stated that this would be established <br />after they have an estimate of maintenance cost. Commissioner Brown ask if the had <br />been any conversation with the neighboring Fire Chief. Mr. Holloway answered not at <br />this time, they will work with the Fire Dept. through Hill Water at the time of <br />installati on. <br />Commissioner Berwick expressed concern of the safety of pulling out on to Keller Hill <br />Rd. Mr. Holloway stated that with the clearing of an area of the slop should be adequate <br />for sight distance, of course we will do what ever the Morgan Highway Dept. request. <br />
